The Tasks:
Gestione degli ordine e comande. Una vasta conoscenza dei drink internazionali di base e abilità nella preparazione della caffetteria è importante per questo ruolo. Il responsabile di sala e bar aiuta a prendere ordini, servire i clienti e a rifornire il bar secondo le necessità.

Il responsabile di sala e bar sovrintende alla gestione del bar durante la mattina, assicurandosi che reclami e disturbi vengano trattati in modo educato. Si assicurano inoltre che il bar sia sempre pulito e ordinato, anche durante i periodi di punta.

L’inventario deve essere controllato regolarmente e il responsabile di sala e bar é responsabile dell’ordinazione dello stock quando è basso e della supervisione delle consegne per assicurarsi che tutto sia consegnato e immagazzinato correttamente.

Il responsabile di sala e bar si occupa di alcuni compiti amministrativi della gestione del bar e della parte incentrata sul cliente, alla formazione e gestione del personale.

reclami o le domande dei clienti vengono indirizzati al responsabile di sala e bar per gestirli in modo professionale. Il responsabile di sala e bar si occupa di garantire che tutti i clienti abbiano una buona esperienza all’interno del bar, oltre a risolvere i problemi tra il personale.

We are looking for an open-minded young mind, able to add some flavour to our Yellow vibe as a customer service assistant to manage customer queries, reviews and complaints, preferable with experience in the hospitality field. You will also be asked to create, modify, and update reservations, answer reviews and distribute information in between our structures, working always next to a supervisor that will guide you through the different scenarios.

Customer Service Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Dealing with bookings from different structures from the same company.
  • Dealing with special requests and answering questions.
  • Dealing with complaints or problems online.
  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
  • Communicating with customers through various channels.
  • Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
  • Knowing our offers and policies so that you can answer questions.
  • Processing orders, forms, applications, and requests.
  • Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
  • Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.
  • Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.

We offer very unique experiences to our volunteers. Our volunteering programme aims to be a  learning and fun period, our selected volunteers are welcomed in our hostel with a big smile and provided with guidelines and training.

A little about Milan… the fashionable gem of Italy, which shows style and design can coexist with the beauty of classical Italian architecture. The Milanesi are also the ones who invented the “Aperitivo culture”, so they are the best when it comes to have fun, drink and eat with other people. Moreover Milan is surrounded by a wonderful countryside and most importantly it is bordered by Lake Como to the north, a wonderful location, famous for its sceneries, restaurants and Villas.

What we ask:

  • Availability for a minimum of 6 weeks
  • Volunteers will be given 4 shifts a week and 3 days off
  • Shifts will be of 7.5 hours, with a 30 minute lunch break

What we provide:

  • Free accommodation at the Hostel.
  • 2 meals a day at our bar/restaurant. 
  • Discounts for any additional purchase at our venues.
  • Free participation in our activities, including Cooking Class, Walking tours and many other tours and activities.
  • Adequate training to integrate effectively in our team.
  • A chance to be introduced to different sectors: hospitality, food & beverage, tours, activities and events.

Rome is a very special city combining its rich history of the ancient Roman Empire with the artistic enlightenment period that brings enchantment to our modern day era. Rome is a cosmopolitan city with nearly 3,000 years of globally influential art, architecture and culture on display. This is portrayed through ancient ruins such as the Roman Forum and the Colosseum that represents the power of the former Roman Empire and through beautifully decorated churches, such as St. Peter’s Basilica, governed by the headquarters of the Roman Catholic Church in Vatican City. Come and start exploring what Rome has to offer!

What we ask:

Tasks:

Preparation of drinks and cocktails. A broad knowledge of the recipes of the different drinks is important for this role. The Head Bartender helps to take orders and serve customers, especially during work shifts, and to stock the bar as needed.

The Head Bartender oversees the management of the bar, making sure that complaints and disturbances are treated in a polite manner. They also make sure the bar is always clean and tidy, even during peak periods.

The inventory must be checked regularly and the Head Bartender is responsible for ordering the stock when it is low and supervising deliveries to ensure that everything is delivered and stored correctly.

The Head Bartender takes care of some administrative tasks of managing the bar and the customer-centered part, from shift planning, updating menus, training and staff management, which involves some office work.

Customer complaints or questions are addressed to the Head Bartender to handle them professionally. The Head Bartender is responsible for ensuring that all customers have a good experience inside the bar, as well as solving problems among the staff.

The Junio Assistant in Event Management acts as a point of contact between the Communication & Marketing office and the operational departments of YellowSquare. We are looking for a reliable and creative figure with a customer centric approach to create, coordinate and promote online and offline private/company events, concerts and leisure activities..

Tasks:

  • Assist the Marketing Director in coordinating and planning events for YellowSquare Milan;
  • Use social media to schedule and promote events;
  • Ensure that each event is carried out in compliance with YellowSquare standards and with the agreements made with DJ / Band / Performer to meet guests’ expectations;
  • Coordinate the departments involved in the realization of the events by supervising the development of the same;
  • Establish positive relationships with the representatives of the events and with all the guests involved, to always guarantee maximum satisfaction of expectations.

Qualities:

  • Previous experience in organizing events;
  • Practical approach in line with the YellowSquare philosophy;
  • Knowledge of Italian, English and preferably Spanish and / or Portuguese;
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service driven by a passion for hospitality;
